Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, My name is Xing. I am from China and I am 22 years old. I am an au pair candidate at Cultural Care au pair agency. I would like to be an au pair because I love being around kids. When I was growing up, I used to take care of my cousin, who is six years younger than I am, and my two even younger nephew when my aunt and uncle were at work. It was a great experience. In addition to playing many different kinds of games with them, I taught them how to sing and draw and even introduced them to some pre-school material, such as words and colors, etc. We became very close. I look back on it as one of my happiest times. Moreover, I would like to gain different life experiences and see the world a bit and experience different cultures. Being an au pair is certainly a great opportunity for that. I graduated from Hubei University of Technology in June 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and I am a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese. I'd like speak Chinese with your kids,if they are interested in it. Though I am a Chinese citizen, I already have my U.S. visa and am currently in the United States (Wisconsin), and I have an international driver's license.
