Au Pair/Nanny job description

You will take care of our 2year old daughter Venitia (Sept 2007) and her 9 year old sister Sonora. Additionally, there will be some very light tidying to help mum out and general help with meal times, bath times etc. We employ a cleaner three times a week so no heavy cleaning. You must be a good swimmer. You must also be very responsible as you will have very occasionally sole charge at wk/ends. Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear nanny, We are a French family (16 years in London) looking for a responsible, kind and enthusiastic nanny who loves children and who is also organised and tidy. You would start asap in London UK. We would like to meet a loving person to care for our 2 and 8 year old daughters Venitia and Sonora, help with very light homework plus three evenings a week babysitting. We employ a cleaner three times a week so no heavy cleaning. We are a happy, relaxed and informal family so happy, relaxed attitude works best with us plus lots of inspiration and imagination to keep kids amused, and above all a good sense of humour! We live in Central London-Kensington, a great area with wonderful parks, playgroups and toddler activities. Our house is 5 minutes away from High Street Kensington tube station and both Holland and Hyde parks. You will have your own room with satelite TV (top of house) with a bathroom, and food and board will be provided. We love traveling. We generally go skiing 2/3 times a year. We spend the whole summer in Corsica at our waterfront house. We are looking for: 1. Relevant childcare experience (qualification/nursery school background and experience with babies would be a plus) 2. Two contactable references 3. Fluent English - English as a first language preferred or Spanish with good knowledge of English 4. OK to travel in Europe (No visa requirement for France/UK would be a plus) 5. Non smoker 6. Animal/Dog-loving 7. Very responsible (Sole charge occasionally at wk/ends) 8. Driving licence preferred to offer maximum flexibility but not absolutely necessary.
