Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, One of my best friends told me that kids enjoy my company because I'm like a kid myself. I like to have fun and enjoy sharing knowledge with children. I think it's very important to be active and consistent in a child's life. We are the adults, we need to be the ones they look up to ... for the right reasons! For the past year I have been living in South America working at a microbank, where I was conducting interviews with women who were investing small loans into their businesses with the idea that they could become 'head of the household.' I enjoyed that opportunity though, I realized while there that my passion lies with children and sharing with them. I became a certified Yoga instructor in Peru and Bolivia and love sharing my love for yoga with kids to get them moving! They really do enjoy making their own yoga poses and enjoying the stretching and confidence it brings to them. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
