Au Pair's Message to Families

Hallo! I'm currently in the Netherlands learning Dutch. I've already achieved level B1 of the Common European Framework of References. Next year I would like to either get a CELTYL diploma in English or work on other language skills, such as Spanish, French. I don't have a certificate on first aid care, but I'm about to get it. In what concerns children, I like to relate to them in a spontaneous manner, that means, depending on the child, it could take some time to have control over. I could eventually take care of newborns, if the mother is also around. I don't have that much experience with newborns/ babies under 2 years of age, but am very willing to learn. I'm responsable, polite and mature but not perfect. I am almost always in a very good humour, but am not very good with being funny, I must confess. A few of my favourite things: trekking, swimming, health related issues, animals, gardening and talking. Of course, music, reading... If you should ask me to name 3 features that define me as a person, I would say, I like to keep things under perspective, realistic and modest.
