| Hi prospective family!
My name is Emily, I am a 19 year old girl, from Connecticut, USA. I live in a small town as of now, but am quite used to big cities, as I live only about an hour away from New York City! I would love to come to your town, or city. :) I have my high school diploma, and have been in college for 1.5 years, so far, and will graduate with my Liberal Arts and Science Degree next semester. I have a drivers license, and I have had it for almost 2 years.
There are many reasons I would like to become your au pair. The main reason is that I have a passion and love for children and for teaching, as well. I plan to become a teacher in the future. I would like to major in English, and also, in Human Biology. I love being with children and teaching them things, and also being able to learn from them. Children are so insightful! Other than teaching, I also love to just run around and play with children! Im always ready to play hide and seek, or climb around on a playscape with them! I believe thats one of the best things you can do for a child, is to be able to PLAY along side them!
I am a very active girl. I played soccer for 14 years, along with basketball/ softball/ tennis. I love to go swimming, and go hiking. Being outside is a very big part of my life. I love the fresh air. :) One of my passions is definitely photography. I love to photograph people, and places. I even have a Polaroid camera from the 1970's, that I love to use. Another hobby of mine is arts and crafts. I love making things, with all types of materials. Its very fun to me. I love every type of animal! I have experience caring for kittens/cats, and puppies/dogs. :)
I am looking to be an au pair for a semester-length. Which means anywhere in between 5-8 months. This may not seem like very long, but I only use this time frame, for the shortest amount of time I'd be willing to stay. Obviously if everything is wonderful, I'd be willing to stay longer. :) I would like to start somehwere between the 1st of January to the end of January.
Please consider me in your search for an au pair!! Thank you,
Emily |
