| Dear future Host Family !
My name is Klaudia . I am 18 years old and I come from Poland. I live in a small town called Zabkowice Slaskie. This town is situated in south-western Poland and lies approximately 63 kilometres (39 miles) south of the regional capital Wroclaw. As at 2006, it has a population of 16,242. I live with my parents and my dog Brutus. I have one older brother. He is 29 years old and he lives in France. My father is unemployed and my mother works as a caregiver.I've finished my high school this year in April . My class was a language class with additional English and German classes. In my free time I like listening to music, reading books and going out with some friends. I am an easy- going person and i make friends easily. I am open for a new experiences in my life. I have a positive attitude to life.
I love to work with children and I have experience in taking care of children between 4 to 14 years old. I also do a lot of babysittings. When I take care of kids I usually have to take them to school or kindergarten and then pick them up, play with them, prepare food for them, reading books. I am very creative person. I would like to entertain kids with some fun and educational games. I like both indoor and outdoor activities. I was taked care many children, now I won’t describe you a few of my charges. One of girls I was taked care for a year, she’s name is Sylwia and now she is 13 years old. She is going to the primary school. She is very talented girl, she loves music , she can play the violin and piano. Her hobby is also the theatre . She maked a public performance. I am very proud of her , and it’s really nice see how her dreams have come true. Next girl it’s Weronika. She is my little angel ! She has 8 years old, and she is so cute. She is very pretty and she has hair reaching down to the waist. She don’t have a father, so She didn’t had easy childhood. I very often helped her Mother In housework. I was cleaning whole house. Frequently I was washing dishes, windows, ironing clothes, and preparing meals. Next kid is Maciek, 9 years old boy. He is very shy and sensitive. He was always sad, because he didn’t had a friends, so I was very intimate with him. I enlighten him that he is a man of worth, wonderful and exceptional person. I embolden him self-confidence. From December 2008 to june this year I was Nnny for a little boy, Szymek. He was born at October 2007, when I started taked care of him, he has 13 months. Now he has 21 months. He is very polite and joyful boy. To my duties belonged many things like bathing, preparing meals , feeding, etc. Recently I was also attented to the course for Nannys who wants taked care kids under 2 years. Now I know what to do with infant, and I’m prepared to taking cared child who has only few months. For a month after school I was also going to the kindergarten spending time with kids. I was helping in taking care of them – guarding and playing them. On the winter-holiday I was also on the camp with children and them caregivers. It was amazing experience in my life . Now I am convinced that I wont spend my life with kids, because I loved them.
I am very responsible, patient and honest person. When I take care of children I often feel like their older sister. I do not want to be just an au pair but I also would like to be a part of your family and your friend the future I would like to study English and work as an English teacher because I would like to work with kids.I would like to be an au pair because I am interested in the American culture and the American lifestyle. I love children and I think it is a good idea to connect this together. I hope to gain from this experience to become more independent and develop myself in a positive way.
