Au Pair job description

The role is predominately to look after our 2 younger children, aged 9 and 11 - ensure they are up, dressed, had breakfast and are ready for school. Walk to school bus or local school. Both finish school in the afternoon from 4 onwards and then its providing tea and helping with homework. They have some after school activities which they will need to be taken to. There are also light housekeeping duties of making sure the washing is kept up to date and beds/towels changed once a week ( we have a regular cleaner once a week).

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Hi -We are a friendly family of 5 ( although our eldest child is at University) and are looking for a fun, outgoing but fairly organised au pair to join our family and help look after our 9 and 11 year old. We live in Wimbledon and have easy access to a good shopping area and transportation. Wimbledon also has a good nightlife, again with easy access to central London. Our current aupair has been with us for 18 months and is returning home to continue her studies - we would love our new aupair to start in the last week of November to spend a couple of weeks getting to know us and the role with the curretn aupair. The role comes with a good size bedroom with own TV and sofa, with access to a laptop and the internet. Our home is always lively with lots going on, with 2 very warm and loving children that have built strong bonds with our previous au-pairs.
