Au Pair/Nanny job description

I have 2 precious children - a girl 3 months and a boy 20 months. I am a doctor and I am currently training to become an emergency physician. I will only be working part-time, average 20 hours/week. Because people get sick 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I work rotating shifts over those hours and you would need to work shift work too. However in return I can offer more time for independant travel. We live in the capital city of New Zealand. Our house is in a seaside suburb, one block from the beach/playground. There is a great city bus service. I am looking for a young woman with good childcare experience, as you will have to look after the children on your own at times. Are you interested in travelling around New Zealand? I need a vibrant enthusiastic young woman to help me care for my two darling children while I return to part-time work. I work as a doctor in the Emergency Department at a major hospital in the capital city, Wellington. I have recently separated from my partner. My job involves shift work, which will mean you are working shifts too. On the positive side, you get paid to sleep in the evening and overnight, you get time off during the day. I will only be working part-time, so we will be sharing childcare much of the time. And you will have the option of having blocks of 3-7 days off in a row to travel if you wish. We are a vegetarian family with a strong commitment to enviromental issues. Women with alternative lifestyles are most welcome, I am very open minded; however you must be a non-smoker and drug-free.
