Au Pair/Nanny job description

Full-time, live-in au pair required to care for our healthy, intelligent, active and lovely 3 year-old boy, Pedro, and almost 5 year-old girl, Isadora. Both parents work full-time. Once we have a regular person for the housekeeping, meal preparation, laudry and ironing, we need someone to take care of two children, including walking to and from extra activities (swimming lessons, ballet, etc.), meals, bath time, play, learning, bedtime, story time, discipline, etc. Duties will also include the organization of their rooms and stuff, laundry and ironing (children) only when nedeed. Require CPR certification, criminal record check and previous experience, with references. Require a committment to our family for at least one year.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Well, we've never had an au pair before but we are so excited for this experience. We are a happy and regular family of 4 who lives in a small and beautiful neighborhood called Aldeia da Serra in the suburds of São Paulo. Pedro hasn't gone to school so far but next year he will and Isadora has been in school for 3 years. We are very outgoing, like to hangout and to travel but also very concerned about our kids. For that reason we'd like to have someone who are not only interested in knowing new people and place, but who really likes to be and play with kids. We both work a lot, so we'd like to have a person to be their "safety port" when we are out. We have a beach house where we spend the summer vacation and we also would love to take you to know places. If you fit in our requirements you will be very welcome in our house.
