Au Pair job description

The routine is an early start to take the boys to school, a few hours housework in the day and then collect from school and some light meals. We will ask you to go to the local market for fruit and veg and also to the supermarket. William the youngest is at school 15 minutes walk from our house. Max goes to a boys school in Leeds so needs a lift in the car in the morning and evening to the train station. (If the weather is good though he walks back in the afternoon) Max likes playing football in the garden, PS3 etc he may need help with homework. William loves Spiderman, power rangers, Ben 10 and drawing and painting ad needs help practicing to read. After school generally will mean a light meal for both boys then homework and play until bedtime. The cleaning is filling the dishwasher and mopping the kitchen floor, vacuuming, dusting, ironing and changing beds and generally tidying.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au Pair, We have been having au pairs since our eldest boy was 4 (male and female) and all our previous au pairs stay in touch as we treat them as part of the family. We currently have a lovely French male au pair until August 2009 We live in a 5 bedroom country house 10 minutes walk from the centre of a busy town with a good nightlife and railway links to all major cities. We are very active and like the ourdoors, skiing as well as simple walks to the park. The Au Pair has own bedroom with laptop and broadband, TV DVD and sterio and we pay for a gym membership where there is a nice swimming pool, sauna weights and many classes. We have a car for the au pair a Toyota Rav4 which is for the sole use of the au pair We go on holiday twice a year and give the au pair the choice whether to come or to go home while we are away. Anyone applying is welcome to talk to our existing au pair.
