I am currently working at a child care facility during the day and am looking for do some babysitting in the evenings, on weekends, or overnight! I have ample experience working with children and adolescents in multiple settings. I have been babysitting for the past 10 years, teach swimming lessons, and have been a camp counsellor for the past five summers. I have also volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters both as a big sister and an in-school mentor, as well as volunteered in an elementary school classroom. I believe in doing hands on activities with children instead of simply setting them down in front of a tv for entertainment. I'd be more than happy to take your children to the park, do crafts, play games, and whatever else they like to do. I have experience with special needs and have been providing respire care for a family for a few years. I've babysat overnight in the past for shift workers, as well as while parents were on vacation, and am very comfortable doing so. I have a criminal record & child abuse check completed for interested families.
