Dear Potential Au Pair
You are someone who loves animals and the countryside, doesn’t crave citylife (there is none!) and probably someone creative who would like time to enjoy the beauty and peace of the countryside, while also being a part of the household. I have arthritis, so I sometimes struggle with household tasks and mainly need housekeeping help, but there is also lots to do outside. You will need to be willing to pitch in as well as being physically reasonably fit!! Does this sound like you?

We are looking for someone a bit different!! We’ve had many au pairs over 20 years and have made some amazing lifelong friends. Now we are living on a small farm with a LOT of work to do - my husband works full time from home and I work part time. Only one child is still at school and the only help needed there is to drive to and from some activities, so a driving licence will be a huge advantage. Mostly, we are looking for someone to help around the house, au pairing for the fluffball dogs!! We’d like you to join in with the farming activities, gardening, including my amazing polytunnel for veggies, shepherding, gardening, DIY - what are your skills or passions and what do you want to learn? I am an English teacher and we are experienced at helping people improve their grasp of English. There will be a lot of time available to explore beautiful Ireland, take time for yourself, walking, reading, writing, music, art….
