Dear Prospective Au Pair,
Ivaylo has a Bulgarian mother who works for Insurance and a Scottish father who is a university professor of literature. At home we tend to speak English. We would like Ivaylo’s au pair to be able to speak to him in either English, French or Bulgarian.
We are both long-term Paris residents and speak French as well as other languages. What we are looking for in our au pair is above all someone who can love our boy and help him retain the great sense of confidence that he currently enjoys. He is a very cheery soul and is trusting and sociable and adores to be outside and play. He is full of curiosity, so we need someone who will play with him, teach him things and will help advance his development. No looking at phones or videos all the time, we need someone who will be present for our child.
We are not looking for help with housework or our shopping or with clearing up after us, but we would prefer someone who is clean and tidy and who will help us keep Ivaylo's sense of order and good manners. We travel often, mostly to the UK, but also to Italy and Greece.
If needed, we can offer accommodation - a studio flat in perfect condition, within 2 min walk of our flat, in the very centre of Paris.
We are a warm, caring family, and we treat Ivaylo's au pairs as part of our family.

We are seeking help with our presently six-year-old son, Ivaylo.
Ivaylo is a sunny, sweet, clever boy, full of energy and curiosity.
The job will involve looking after Ivaylo five afternoons per week, after school, from 4.20pm until 6.30pm. This may involve walks in the park, help with homework, reading, play, songs. On Wednesday, from 11 am until 6pm, depending on the activities Ivaylo will attend (judo, painting).
Evenings and weekends are free.
We live on one of the most sought-after and enjoyable streets for young people – all cafés and restaurants – right in the very centre of Paris, on the rue Montorgueil.
We could provide independent accommodation in the same neighbourhood, a studio of 25m2, with magnificent views of Paris, in excellent condition, clean, sunny, and safe, fully renovated in 2021.
