My name is Grace and I am a 29 year old from the USA currently living in Asia.
I consider myself to be organized and tidy. While I am quite introverted, enjoy traveling and spending time alone, I am however extremely personable and have no trouble connecting with those around me. I would also consider myself very adaptable. I have worked for families of all different cultural backgrounds and have moved across the world on my own. These experiences have given me the skills to succeed in most environment. I am really looking forward to the new opportunity to see and experience a new country and culture this year!
In my free-time I passionately enjoy playing volleyball, both casually and competitively. I also enjoy snowboarding when the winter season comes around. In spring and fall I love to be outdoors hiking or going on walks, and in bad weather I never turn down the chance to watch a new movie.

2014-2015 Aupair for German family in Potsdam, Germany (2 year old and 9 year old boys)
2015-2016 Nanny for British family on Jeju Island, South Korea (4 month old girl and 2 year old boy)
2016-2018 Full Time Position: Nanny for high profile Korean family in Seoul, South Korea (4 year old girl)
2018-2020 Mother's Assistant for Family in San Jose, California - U.S.A. (9 and 13 year old boys)

Korean Family (2 months old boy)

I drove for several families - both school pick up and drop offs/ after school activities and for my own planned trips with the kids.
I have experience both tutoring and teaching Math and English.
I have also taught infant swimming with one family.
Every year has become a learning experience for me and it is such a joy to watch how children themselves learn and grow to discover new things. Whether it's how to walk, write, or communicate with new words or language. I love getting to be a part of a child's life and help in their growth! I am very active myself and love to teach a child through activities. Playing outside or doing outdoor activities is no problem and I also enjoy creating crafts and learning tools for the younger ones. If there are any objectives or skills you desire your child to learn, I can help with it by planning and creating activities.
I am looking for an opportunity, whether it be directly childcare or as a personal assistant, that strives for clear working schedule. I understand there are days and weeks when flexibility is necessary and I have no problem accommodating to school holiday schedules, extenuating circumstance or simply ‘life’, but I am not looking for a position that is up to change week by week. I value clear and open communication and appreciate schedules!
