Dear host family, My name is Fernanda i have 27years old, im a mexican girl with mexican passport and USA visa, i live in Monterrey city, Nuevo Leon state with my parents. My mom is a housewife and my dad works in a contractor company. i have one brother and one sister. My brother is the oldest and is married and has a nine-years old girl (my nephew) and works at a company in the quality department and my sister is the median and she also married and has an eleven-years old boy and a five-years old girl, she works half time and in the evening watching my nephews. In the past months, I was working at the bank IXE, as the director`s assistant. But because of the economic crisis in Mexico, the company made a staff reduce (Redundancies) and I have to go . What I take from that job, are good friends, a great experience, and good references . Some of my hobbies are: cooking, take a walk in the afternoon, PetS, make sports (even if sometimes I don’t have time to practice them), read books, hear music (I love music!!) to go out with my friends, and to spend time with my family . We use to join every friday in my house, we make barbecue and enjoy time together. I also love swimming . I started to swim when I was 6 years old, I swim with my friends, someones have pool in their homes and usually go with my sister and family to her home every sunday, we make hamburgers and swim in the pool all day long. My nephews love to swim too!! ( as you can si, here in Monterrey we love doing barbecues, hamburguers, etc because our climate is great!) and i love the PETS,i have a dog, his name is Toby is 7 years old, I really like to play with him, bathe him, take him for a walk, etc I love reading and my favorite activity is take care of child. That is why I decided to study for Kindergarten Teacher, but unfortunately I couldn’t finish the college because I need to work. For me, taking care of Children is very relaxing and I enjoy it a lot, when I have time I take care of my nephews and help my sister. About my experience with the kids, I took care of 1 children with a family named "Riojas" and I also worked in a summer camp kindergarden named Kinder Paradise in jun-jul-ago2018. The child who I took care with the family in 2015, was a boy named Sebastian and he was 1 year 6months old (I took care 1 year), who is a beautiful boy. When I was at the Summer camP Kinder Paradise I was with a group of 7 kids between 3-6 years old. This experience was incredible because it was so funny and I learned about kids a lot, they have different ages so they have a lot of imagination!! Babysitting was very unique experience to me and I really had a good memory with them. I `m still in contact with them and sometimes I visit the family too. I think that the AUPAIR its very interesting. I think it is a very good opportunity to improve my English skills and i would love to learn the english languaje, to get new friends and to travel. Moreover I want to exchange Mexican and American culture and gain valuable experience caring for children in a loving family setting. When I return to my hometown, I would like to work in this field that I love, in order to earn more money. For my DRIVING experience, I bought my own car and I have been driving 8 year. I am a careful and serious driver. I never get accident in my driving. I usually drive on highway and country. I have a full driving license now. Im sure that I will drive for your children safety, you can trust in me. I am very friendly person, I love to make friends, and I try to understand and respect all the people. I think that a big smile open lots of doors (I love to smile!!) . I also like to help in all circumstances and to be proactive. As you can notice my English is not perfect, because I don`t practice it constantly, but I’ll do my best to improve it and if you give me the opportunity to be part of your family I’ll promise not to let you down.
