Hello. I am a middle aged single lady whose two children no longer live with me as they have moved out to lives of their own.

My degree is in social work specializing in child welfare. I worked for the government as a child protection worker for a number of years. Prior to that, while obtaining my degree I cared for twins from 6 months until I was finished university classes four years later. Between first and second year in university I was a nanny in England and Morocco for a family with 3 young boys. Most recently, I was a nanny for a 7 year old girl in Chilliwack, BC. I was with her family for almost a year

I have always loved children so set my career goals with this fact in mind. I raised two boys who are now young men. My passions include travel, cooking, art and animals. I had a pet daycare for ten years while raising my children so if you have "fur babies" I would lie right at home with them.

I am healthy, active and involved in my community. I have a large circle of friends and like to travel at least once a year. I have fun cooking and like to try new recipes
