I would first like to take the time out and Thank You for viewing my profile.
I currently have my associates in Early Childhood Education and will my Bachelors this summer. I am currently a full time 1st Grade Teacher. Before that I was a 1st grade teacher at a Charter school. I do have experience working virtually from both an educator and students point of view. During the pandemic I had a chance to work with a friend and her kids while she went into during the day I would watch her five kids. (Set of 4 year old twin boys, 6 year old, 8 year old, and 12 year old).
I love what I do and am always looking to expand my leadership skills. I believe life is all about taking risks and any and everything is possible. I am open to all job opportunities and will still love to think that I can be a future/ possible candidate for you all.
Here's a little about me. I am a very calm and collective person. I like to say I have a free spirit type of personality. I love being outdoors and am always up for an adventure or a challenge. I'm a very open minded person and find myself very easy to talk to. I'd like to think the glass is half full. I find beauty in the little things in life. I love music, dance, gymnastics, and anything that keeps me busy. I come from a pretty big family. I have three older brothers and a twin sister. Thank God for her. :) I hope to travel the world one day and I love children. They are the seeds for our future. I look at them as little learning tools. I don't know everything and I feel like kids are always questioning things that we never think about, therefore helping me learn about this world just like them. I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for a perfect family, but more of a family that will make me feel complete.
A few years ago I found out I suffer from something called angioedema ( rapid swelling, of the area beneath the skin. It is normally an allergic reaction). I do have a health plan to follow in case if it was to rise up. It has never been life threatening in any way but it does usually evolves me staying in the hospital from anywhere from 4-10 hours for observations. Doctor's and Nurse's are usually baffled when it happens because it's really no real change in diet or routine.
I also do have an emotional Support dog, her name is Riley, she is 4 years old and she is a black lab mixed. I do intend on bringing her with me with the family I am chosen for. Please keep this in mind.
