Hello potential lovely host families, I am Yeni from Indonesia, I am 25 years old, I am staying in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania taking care of 3 lovely children. They are 10 months old baby, 3 yo and 7 yo. Im looking for the loving fun new host family start at the end of April 2018. I have experience watch the children from age 1 month old to 11 years old at days care and orphanage in my country as a volunteer, I have trained 72 hours childcare in Tampa, Florida, I have experience as an aupair at Mechanicsville, Virginia ( take care 3 girls ages 7,9 and 13 years old), Coudersport, Pennsylvania ( take care of 2 dan 4 yo) and twins baby( a week old) in Parrish, FL.
My expectations being an aupair is being part of your family and do my job as the big sister for the children. Doing some tasks like; Give the children bath ( children under 5), prepare their meals, cleaning their room and their toys, changing diapers & give bottle(baby), laundry kids clothes, teach them alphabets, drive & pick up children to/from school or any class, entertain the children, help children do homework, shopping errands, cooking, clean dishes, do some housework and I will make sure the children are safe and have fun with me.
I entertain and teach the children shapes, colors, alphabets, numbering, animals, plants and things, make art, crafting, make a train trail, build legos, play some puzzle, play sport, girl stuff, involve them to cook, taught them to clean their toys and some mess they're made, do some exercise like: taking them to playground or park, walk with the dog, play at the pool, play hide and seek, feed duck, fish and bird, do silly dancing from nursery rhymes video, and I also introduced some Indonesian games. I try to make those to be playful and fun so the children can enjoy and having fun with me.
Why am I interested in being an au pair?
I want to be aupair because I like to spending time with the children, I also am curious about the differences about how the Parent parenting to their children in their family. I have found many differences and the effect of the children I have watched on my country and the host families in the US. I can figure out for my own future family by adopting some tradition, culture that I have shared by the Host Family. Being an aupair is a great experience because i can meet many people or aupairs from other countries and share many thing from each country. That’s really awesome to know and learn different unique cultures, their traditions and behavior so I will work hard as an aupair and do my job the best I can as this is makes excited.
I would describe about myself as lovely person, spontaneous, adventurous, funny, responsible, respectful, honest, understanding, trustworthy, independent, helpful,fun and I willing to learn and accept different cultures.
My hobbies are watching movies, exploring different places, reading and playing instruments ( even Im not expert).
