I am an easygoing, organized and kind young woman, who enjoys working with children, from babies to teens. I'm looking for working with a family who needs someone flexible with plenty of experience. I’ve worked full time live-in and part time live-out for American families, with children from 2 months to 14 years old during the past 5 years.

In my free times I go to school, read, cook or watch movies. When the weather helps, I like to spend time outside; I love traveling and I wish I could have more opportunities to do so.

I have 9 years of experience with children. It started in 2003 in Brazil, when I volunteered at IPREDE (an ONG). In 2005 I worked at a school called Primeiro Mundo (it means First World), as a teacher assistant, with children from 2 to 6 years old; and, before coming to US in 2007, I was working with babies at a day care center called Sandbox, it was an incredible experience and I realized how much I am passionate about providing care for babies, they truly brighten my days.

I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. I’m a Reiki Therapist and I'm certified in Elder Care Support. I'm attending college to acquire a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have an American driver's license (with clean records), First-Aid training and I can swim very, very well.

*My current position is in Chicago, I will be available from next Summer.
